Belmont - Everett Harold "Bud" Buss, age 91, of Belmont passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Manor Care in Platteville.

He was born on December 18, 1926 in Kendall township the son of William and Mayme (Perry) Buss. He graduated from Mineral Point High School in 1944. He married Florence "Bobbie" Adams on August 16, 1947 and she preceded him in death on October 25, 2001. Everett was a proud member of AA and recently celebrated 50 years of sobriety. He married Ruth Tresner on June 12, 2010. He was a member of the Belmont United Methodist Church.

Everett is survived by his wife Ruth of Platteville, a son Richard "Dick" (Barbara) Buss of Mineral Point, two daughters Penny (Mike) Wiegel of Belmont and Pam Buss of Cassville, a daughter-in-law Barb Buss of Milton, 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Bobbie, a son Denny Buss, a brother Bob Buss and a sister Dorothy Ostoic.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Belmont United Methodist Church in Belmont. Pastor Clark Grosvenor will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Mineral Point at a later date. A visitiation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family.
