Evelyn Mae Romanowski's Obituary
Dodgeville / Richland Center – Evelyn Mae Romanowski, age 90 of Dodgeville, formerly of Richland Center, took her last peaceful breath on Friday, February 9, 2024 surrounded by her loving granddaughters at Upland Hills Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born on August 5, 1933 in Winslow, Indiana to William "Everett" and Kelsey (Ragsdale) Luttrull.
Evelyn called many places that she loved "home". She had countless adventures in her wonderful life that took her all over the US and Canada and she loved to tell everyone of her experiences. She had a captivating way of telling stories and you would find yourself visiting with her for hours talking about life.
Evelyn was proud of her many accomplishments over the years, but she was exceptionally proud of her awards in the bus rodeos when she lived in Cadiz, Kentucky and the rollover bus program that she developed in Prince George, Canada.
She was an exceptional mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She had strong faith in the lord and loved her family unconditionally.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Stan Bowlin (Cathy Elliott) of Edgerton and Theresa (Bob) Este of Cochran, AB, Canada; her granddaughters, Jenni (Travis) Christianson of Clyde, WI, Stephanie Mueller of Owen, WI; her grandsons, Albert (Davina) Douse of Cochran, AB, Canada, Shannon Douse of Cochran, AB, Canada, Michael (Allison) Bowlin of Janesville, WI; her great granddaughters, Jaci Rosenow, Taryn Mueller, Taya Mueller; her great grandsons, Jadyn Douse, Cade Rosenow, Zachary Douse, Tristan Douse, Drew Christianson, Tate Mueller; her sister, Wanda Lightsey of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved just like they were her own.
Evelyn was proceeded in death by her parents, William "Everett" and Kelsey Luttrull and her brothers, Paul Luttrull and Jim Luttrull.
A private celebration of life for Evelyn will be held in Nashville, TN.
