Obituary

Highland – Eloise Dawn Wolfe said “goodbye” before we could say “hello” and was born sleeping early in the morning on September 1, 2026 to parents Andrew and Grace Wolfe, and her big sister Ivy.

Despite her short time on Earth, she brought immense joy and made a large impact on so many. She had the sweetest face with the littlest nose, looking just like her sister. She was a perfect 5 pounds 9 ounces and 19.5 inches long. We will never understand why she had to leave us so soon, but we are forever thankful and will always remember the short time we got to spend with her. Because of her, we are the luckiest parents with the two most beautiful girls in Heaven and on Earth.

“An angel wrote in the Book of Life my baby’s date of birth, then whispered as she closed the book, ‘Too beautiful for Earth.’” -Unknown Author

Eloise will be forever missed and loved by her parents, Andrew and Grace, and her sister Ivy Marilyn. She is further survived by her cousins Scottie and Clarke; her many aunts and uncles including Avery, Emily (Scott), Adam, Oliver, and Kaden; her grandparents Brian & Tammy, Mike, Justin & Faith, and Justin; and her 12 great-grandparents.

She is preceded in death by her aunt Olivia Higgins.

A visitation will be held Thursday September 10, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME, where a short service will be held at 6:00 pm. There will be a Celebration of Eloise’s Life at Red Room in Dodgeville following the service.

Eloise’s family would like to thank so many people, especially those at Upland Hills Health- OB Department, and Mike & Josh with Gorgen Funeral Home. Everyone showed so much compassion and was extremely helpful during the most devastating time.

-A note to Eloise from her parents,

Your mommy, daddy, and sister love you beyond measure and will eternally miss you. We will forever daydream about what you would have looked like and who you would have been for the rest of time. You were too precious for this world, but someday we will all be together once more. Until then, rest easy our sweet angel girl.
