Rewey - Elaine Sylvia Foley, age 74, of Rewey passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Manor Care in Platteville.
She was born on May 14, 1942 the daughter of Harold and Laura (Grasley) Bowers. She graduated from Mineral Point High School. Elaine married Calvin Foley in 1991 at the Hope Lutheran Church in Mineral Point. She was a cook at the Redwood Restaurant for over 30 years. She loved working with crafts, collecting items (nick-nacks), and especially crocheting.
Elaine is survived by her children; Patrick (Ginger) Buskee of Virginia, Alan (Sharon) Buskee of North Carolina, Tama (Mark) Sletten of North Dakota, and Jennifer Grohs of Rewey; 7 grandchiildren, her siblings; Jim, Lucille, and Christine, and her stepchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Calvin, and her sisters Joan, Betty, and Lorretta.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in MIneral Point. Pastor Beryl Melcher will officiate.
