Elaine A. Bratton (nee-McCarville) of Mineral Point went home peacefully to the Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the age of 92. She was born on September 27, 1926 the daughter of Leo and Celia (Mongold) McCarville. Beloved wife of the late Charlton Bratton and Charles Palzkill. She loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed golfing, boating on the Mississippi, and frequent trips to Arizona and the casino. Loving Mother of Raymond (Carol) Palzkill, Susan (Brian) Krueger, Steve (Ruth) Palzkill and Tom (Jane) Bratton. Proud grandma of grandchildren: Erin Palzkill (Jeff Webb), Jody (Carl) Dehne, Kari Palzkill, Eric (Kari) Krueger, Kyle (Abbey) Krueger, Brenda (Mark) Montanye, Charlie (Monica) Palzkill, Matt (Amy)Palzkill, Angie Ludlum and Kelly (Jennifer) Bratton. 15 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is further survived by a brother Bob (Jean) McCarville, sister-in-laws Dorothy and Catherine Palzkill. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Joe and Frank and sister Doris Wiegmann, step-son Dave Bratton and grandson Dane Webb-Palzkill.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Ss. Mary & Paul's Catholic Church in Mineral Point. Fr. Tafadzwa Kushamba will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary;s Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 8:30 until 10:20 a.m at the church.
