Dodgeville / Ridgeway – Edward V. "Butch" Lease, age 66, of Dodgeville, formerly of Ridgeway, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at his home, surrounded by family and friends.

He was born on February 12, 1947 in Dodgeville, a son of the late Edward and Virginia (Nolen) Lease. He served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Era. Butch was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 139.

Butch is survived by his children, Mark (Tiffany) Lease, Tracy Lease, Gordy Bahler and Angie Kaltenberg; his grandchildren, Devin, Dakota, Dustiney, Rylee, Erica Rose and Preston; his siblings, Ronnie (Ann) Lease, Judy Husom, Bruce (Mary) Lease; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Diane Lease Blumer, Mary Lou "Penny" Lease, Pam Faust, his brother, Gregory Lease and his grandparents.

Family and friends are invited to the RED ROOM in Dodgeville, to celebrate Butch's life at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013. Private family burial will be held in St. Bridget's Cemetery with Military Honors.
