Mineral Point - Duane E. Juedes, age 65, of Mineral Point passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Agrace HospiceCare of Fitchburg after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on March 6, 1951 in Merrill the son of Edwin and Helen (Cannon) Juedes. He graduated from Tomahawk High School. Duane married Bonnie Jones on August 18, 1973 at the Little Brown Church in Iowa. He worked for Wick Agri Buildings of Mazomanie, WI for over 40 years mainly as a Service Foreman. Duane enjoyed fishing salmon at Port Washington, 4-wheeling, NASCAR, camping, hunting and the outdoors. He was the biggest supporter of his grandchildren's sporting events.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Bonnie; his two daughters Angie (Gary Gratz Jr.) Lindholm and Kelly (Steve) Miller; his eight grandchildren Kayla, Cody, Caden, Derrick, Kyle, Alison, Dakota, and Justin; his brothers Gary (Fern) Juedes of Irma, Darrell (Betsy Johnson-Hersant) Juedes of Rhinelander and Roger (Judy) Juedes of Irma; his sisters Judy Stine of Merrill, Sandy (Ward) Carstensen of Tomahawk, Sharon Purchase of Merrill and Darlene (Bill) Evans of Ogema; his sisters-in-law Cora Juedes and Patti Juedes; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Larry, Wayne, his twin brothers Dale, and Bruce, his sisters Dawn and Kaye, his brother-in-law Dale Stine and sisters-in-law Belle Juedes and Joan Juedes and a nephew Terry Carstensen.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Mineral Point. Pastor Gerhardt Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in Mineral Point and on Friday from 10:00 until 10:50 a.m. at the FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.
