Dodgeville – Doreen Ann Lease, age 49, of Dodgeville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at her home.

Doreen was born in Madison on February 17, 1966. She had her own business "Reliable Cleaning" and worked as a bartender for many years. She was an active leader in both Cub and Girl Scouts for her children; she enjoyed snowmobiling and being around friends, and especially loved raising and riding horses.

Doreen is survived by her daughter, Lauralye (Jeremy) Lauffer-Tomas; her grandchildren, Layla and Jaxyn; her parents, Mary Lou (Sam) Ace and Roberta Lease; her sisters and brothers, Theresa (Dave Lenz) Ley, Debra (Gary) Gagner, David (Missy) Lease, Dale (Ellen) Lease, Donna (Jeff) Nelson, Dan (Jodie) Lease, Diane (Randy) Leibl, Brenda Blackford, Dawn Lease, Doris (Kevin) Meckley, Gene (Tera) Blackford, Lloyd Blackford; very special friend, Ron Pierick.

Doreen was preceded in death by her son, Shane Lauffer, in 2000, her father, David Lease, in 1998, her niece, Carrie Goelzer, in 2012, her niece, Rebecca Lease and baby in 2014.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Private Family Inurnment will be held in St. Bridget's Cemetery.
