Dodgeville - Charles L. "Charlie" O'Neill, Jr., age 80, of Dodgeville, passed away on Tuesday, May 29,2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Mineral Point.

Charles was born on March 10, 1938, son of the late Charles L. and Marian (Dobson) O'Neill, Sr. Charles had many different jobs but most prominently worked at Dodgeville Harvestore, Wonder Wash, The House on the Rock and Lands' End in his lifetime. He enjoyed working and helping out in his community and loved his conversations with his peers. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Charles is survived by his wife Vickie O'Neill; his son Brian (Jenny) O' Neill and her son Logan; his sisters Mary Owens and Rita Ann O'Neill; his sister-in-law Dorothy O'Neill; his grandchildren Jodi (Ryan) Henkels, Samantha Meuer, Ashley O'Neill, Amanda (Dan) Barnett, Nick O'Neill, Skyla Starr and Seth Meuer; 10 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia (Graber) O'Neill, his daughter Diana O'Neill, his son Daniel O'Neill, his sister Linda O'Neill and his brother Donald O'Neill.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Inurnment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery in Mineral Point. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.
