Dodgeville - Charlene A. (Heiser) Dodge, age 75, of Dodgeville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Uplands Hills Health, Dodgeville.

She was born on December 22, 1940 in Richland Center Wisconsin, a daughter to the late Leonard and Hilda Heiser. She graduated from St Luke's Catholic School in 1958. On February 16, 1963 she married Richard (Dick) Dodge at St Luke's Catholic Church in Plain WI.

Charlene worked for Lands' End for many years. After she retired, she worked part time at Wal Mart and Best Western. She was a member of St Joseph's Catholic Church in Dodgeville. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting and spending time with family. Her favorite memories were from our family Christmas baking weekend, full of laughter and other shenanigans.

Charlene is survived by her daughters Cindy (Martin) Beerkircher–Knezovich of Dodgeville and Sandy (Kris) Larson of Fitchburg; her grandchildren Mike (friend, Alicia Oliver) Beerkircher, Bridget (friend, Kyle Oemig) Beerkircher, Zack (fiancé, Jensyn Gillies) Larson, Jenny Larson all of Madison and Kaelyn and Xander Knezovich of Necedah; her brothers and sisters, Richard (Jean) Heiser of Sauk City, MaryAnn Heiser of Plain, Marjorie Attaway of Madison, Leonard (Sharon) Heiser of Prarie du Sac and Calvin (Rae Marie) Heiser of Oregon; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Vickie Dodge, her husband Richard Dodge, her parents, her brother Marlyn Heiser, her sister Mary Scheiber, her brother-in-law Jerry Scheiber, her nephew Mike Scheiber.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Dodgeville. Monsignor Daniel Ganshert will officiate. Burial will be held in West Blue Mounds Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUENRAL HOME in Dodgeville and from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass on Saturday at the church.
