Mineral Point - Bruno J. Galle, age 92, of Mineral Point died on Friday October 23, 2015 at Agrace Hospice Center of Fitchburg, after a short illness.

He was born in Mineral Point on March 21, 1923. Bruno was the eleventh child born to Joseph and Mary (Valente') Galle. He attended Mineral Point High and graduated in 1941. He served as a Sargent in the US Army, during WWII. He was the recipient of multiple Bronze Stars for valor in combat as well as the Purple Heart.

On June 27, 1953 he married Marian G. Moore at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington. Bruno worked for his brother Charlie at Galle's High Life bar & restaurant. He also worked for Ralph Pittz operating the J&R Bar. Bruno and Marian, along with Ralph and Janice Pittz , owned and operated the Dodge – Point County Club, from 1977 and retired in 1995. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also a long time member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.

Bruno is survived by his son, Greg (Megan) Galle; his two daughters, Becky Galle (Cary) and Nancy (Brian) Lutz, all of Madison; his six grandchildren, Matthew Galle (Sabrina), Courtney (Grant ) Govier, Gina (Kevin) Hansen, Luke Galle, Eric and Alyssa Lutz; his sister, Josephine Galle; his Great Grandchildren, Emma and Michael Hansen, Olivia Govier with one on the way. Also many nieces and nephews, with special thanks to Debbie Soper and Joe Ceniti for their careful watch over Dad.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marian, four brothers and five sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. MARY & PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH in Mineral Point. Fr. Jim Leeser will officiate. Military Graveside rites will be accorded by the Mineral Point American Legion and VFW at St. Paul's Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Gorgen Funeral Home in Mineral Point and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. at the church.

We would like to thank the Upland Hills NRC, Dr. Dunn and the Mineral Point Dean Clinic staff. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Agrace Hospice of Fitchburg, who gave our dad the most comfortable and amazing send off a human being could ever ask for. They are truly special.

Bruno was a loving devoted Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa.

We would also like to thank Dad for teaching us to always stick together as family.
