Mineral Point – Bradley Whitford, age 63, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 peacefully at UW-Hospital with his wife of 42 years, Kathy by his side.

Brad was born to Helen and William Whitford on October 5, 1955. Brad spent most of his years throughout small-town southwest Wisconsin where his family has lived for many generations. He grew up in Hollandale and Dodgeville, owning the popular Hollandale bar and supper club, Brad's Place. Brad also met his wife at age 19 working at the Don Q Inn. Kathy and Brad moved to Madison on two occasions and to Cedarburg, WI on their adventures together, to settle down in Mineral Point, WI.

After Brad sold his bar business, he moved to Cobb to raise his family and moved to a long career in wholesale food service. He spent many years in Cobb, near his wife's family, Roger and Lois Hugill. He spent many wonderful times grilling at local festivals, cooking for family & friends, and bringing his jolly wit to everyone around him.

Brad is survived by his wife, Kathy, his son Robin, his daughter, Lauren, and her family, son-in-law Travis, and granddaughter, Dylan (Frazier). He is also survived by his father, Bill, his brother, Gary and his husband, Andy (Holey).

He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen, all of his grandparents, and his sister-in-law Kari.
