Dodgeville – Bonnie Belle Buckingham, age 85, of Dodgeville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Upland Hills Nursing & Rehab Center.

Bonnie was born July 12, 1931 in the Township of Dodgeville, a daughter of Rueben and Blanche (Jewell) Butteris. On September 12, 1948 she married Edger T. Buckingham in Dodgeville. She loved her family, cooking, baking, garage sales and all of her friends at Upland Hills.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Edgar "Buck"; her four children, Bruce of Dodgeville, Kay (Larry) Dammen of Argyle, Keith (Deb) of Mineral Point and Patty (Fred) Rowe of Dodgeville; 10 grandchildren Scott, Melissa, Lyndsy, Tyler, Jenny, Stacy, April, Shawn, Barry and Wes; 21 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Ralph, Roger and Laddie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the DODGEVILLE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. Rev. Jim Droste will officiate. Burial will be held in East Side Cemetery in Dodgeville. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville and from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Monday at the church.
