Dodgeville / Mineral Point – Betty J. Zart, age 67, of Dodgeville, formerly of Mineral Point passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. Betty was born on January 26, 1956 in Lancaster, to the late Frank and June Zart.

Betty was a creative and artistic person who enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, flowers, and plants. She was a talented crafter who spent much of her free time creating beautiful pieces of art. Betty was a kind-hearted person who loved spending time with her family and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Lisa Zart and Linda Peters, and her nephew Benjamin Bowman. She will be deeply missed by her many loving family members and friends.

Betty spent most of her career working for Lands' End, where she made many friends and enjoyed the challenges of the job. In her free time, she loved to work on arts and crafts projects and spend time in her garden.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Burial will be held in Liberty Ridge Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of services on Saturday.
