Linden - Betty Lou Baker, age 92, of Linden passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

She was born on April 7, 1933 the daughter of Carson & Melvina (Levake) Gard. Betty married Clifford Bartle and later married Harley Baker. Betty Lou was a devoted mother. She enjoyed camping, traveling to Texas and crocheting. She also babysat many children over the years. She was a member of the Linden Methodist Church and the Linden Legion auxiliary.

Betty is survived by her son Mark (Jean) Baker of Linden; her daughters Diane Baker of Monroe and Laurie (Kevin Aide) Baker of Platteville; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; her sister Kathryn (Ron) Beerkircher; a brother Dennis (Sharon) Gard; her daughter-in-law Rose Baker; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Clifford and Harley, sons Bill Bartle and Bruce Baker, a grandson CJ Baker-Segner, daughters-in-law Judy Bartle and Rachel Bartle, her siblings; Donna (Jim) Resel, Richard (Irene) Gard, Jack Gard and Carol Gard.

A Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
