Dodgeville – Berniece Ellen Aurit, age 89, of Dodgeville, died with dignity on Thursday, November 14, 2013. Mom entered this world on March 9, 1924, one of three daughters born that day to William and Margaret Eustice of Rewey. She married Robert Aurit on April 27, 1946. She was known for her love of family, friends and farming. Her proudest accomplishments were her children and their children.

Berniece is survived by her children, Jim Aurit, Mary James Fletcher (Jerry Fletcher), Bill (Marge) Aurit, Anna (Tom) Radtke, Tony (LouAnn) Aurit, Ray (Marilyn) Aurit, Pete (Ellen) Aurit, Pauline (Donald) Ley, Diane (Joe) Thomas, Charles (Sally) Aurit, Henry (Terry) Aurit, Maggie (Pat) O'Malley and Carol (Gary) Steffes; her daughter-in-law, Sharon Aurit; 35 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and counting; her brother, Sherm Eustice; her sisters-in-law, Mary Martin and Marian Eustice; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her son, Richard, her son-in-law, Al James, her grandson-in-law, Aric Douglas, her siblings, Don Eustice, Ron Eustice, Bob Eustice, Bernita Miller (triplet), Beverly Eustice (triplet), Grace Bockhop, Jayne Richardson and Barbara Long.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville.

Private Family Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH with interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
