Barneveld - Bernard L Walton, age 81, of Barneveld passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Atrium Post-Acute Care in Mineral Point.
Bernie was born September 4, 1933 in Richland Center to Charles and Leora (Sparling) Walton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Richard and Russell, and sisters, Alma Banks and Dorothy King.
Bernie is survived by his son, Bernard Walton, Jr. and two daughters, Mary and Patricia. He is further survived by his sister-in-law, Florence Walton, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bernie greeted everyone he met with a friendly "hello". He touched the lives of many and will surely be missed.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville, followed by a private burial in the White Cemetery in Barneveld.
