STOUGHTON - Arlene Generva Lindeman, age 92, of Stoughton, WI. passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Stoughton Meadows Assisted Living. She was born May 7, 1929 to George and Dorothy (Blabaum) Sittig of Highland, WI. In 1946 Arlene married Raymond J. Lindeman. They farmed in Mineral Point, WI until retiring in Stoughton, WI.
Arlene was a great euchre player, enjoyed making her famous potato salad and pasty, and loved spending time with family. Stories have it she was a master at marble shooting and a very good roller skater when she was a young girl.
She is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Robert) Felland, Karen Masino and Connie (Darryl) Weber; nine grandchildren, Heather (Alan) Brandley, Julie (Tony) Anselmo, Kelly (Tom) Hopper, Brendan McGettigan, Michael (Elizabeth) Masino, Christopher (Marianne) Masino, Kimberly (Mike) Behr, Kevin (Emily) Weber and Mathew (Susie) Weber; twenty-six great-grandchildren, Jonah, Connor and Megan Brandley, Belle, Bobby and Henry Anselmo, Jackson, Brinley and Ava Hopper, Hannah, Cole and Finley McGettigan, Hailey, Morgan, Tyler and Ryan Masino, Giovanna and Giorgio Masino, Breanna O'Neil, Sam, Brianna and Carter Behr, Charlotte and Lane Weber, Jack and Elliott Weber, a sister Geraldine (Jerry) Rowan.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Viola, Wynonna, Twila, and Marion; brothers Nordeen and Ivan and a son-in-law George Masino
A gathering to share memories with visitation at 9:30 - 11:00 AM, a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Gorgen Funeral Home, 310 Ridge Street, Mineral Point, WI. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery in Dodgeville.
