Mineral Point - Arlene Ruth Jackson, age 86, of Mineral Point passed away peacefully on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Bloomfield Healthcare and Rehab Center.

She was born on January 26, 1932 the daughter of Harry and Ruth (Kleppe) Hauge. Arlene grew up in Hollandale, WI. She married Kenneth Jackson in 1949. They farmed for a short time south of Mineral Point and started their family. The family moved to Mineral Point in 1958, where she raised four children, and worked various jobs, retiring from Lands End. Arlene loved to cook and work in her garden.

Arlene is survived by her children; Gary Jackson of Hollandale, Alvin Jackson of Highland, Eva Yager of Mineral Point and Mark Jackson of Madison; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, Arlene was very close to her mother Ruth "Granny" and was especially fond of her grandson Robert. For the last 20 years she enjoyed the company of her relatives, many friends, neighbors, and her special kitty, "Hazel".

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth in 1998, and a granddaughter Christine.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in MIneral Point. Pastor Rich McLeer will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 12 noon until time of service at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME.
