Dodgeville - Ann Jane Saxton was born in 1960 in Middletown, New York. She was the first girl and fifth child of Donald Saxton and his beloved wife Anne. She fell in love with cooking as a child in her grandmother's kitchen and often dreamed of having her own restaurant.

Ann's ultimate dream was to become a mother. In January of 1984 that dream was realized when her only child was born. She loved her daughter, Carrie more than words can express. She was her mother's dream come true, her world and her life.

In 2016 she moved to Dodgeville, Wisconsin. She was so happy to be loved by her friends and family both near and far. Ann was a fantastic and caring friend.She loved animals, nature, music and her beloved Twitch family. Her favorite song was 'Tiny Dancer' by Elton John. Now she is dancing among the stars.

Ann was predeceased by her beloved parents Donald and Anne Saxton, her angel babies and her beloved pets.

She is survived by her only child, Carrie Ann Hunter of Madison, WI and her fiance Jared Stearns. Her Siblings Richard Saxton of Owego, New York and his wife Kandi, Daniel Saxton of New Hampshire and his wife Ellen, Raymond Saxton of North Carolina and his wife Monika, Brian Saxton of Massachusetts and his wife JoAnn and her sister Nancy Richmond of Maryland with her husband Christopher.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 4:00 until 5:00 PM at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville, followed by a Celebration of Life at 5:00 PM.
