Barneveld - Amy Leora Moen, age 92, of Barneveld, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Upland Hills Nursing & Rehab Center in Dodgeville, where she has resided for the past year.

She was born on June 17, 1921 in Dunn County, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late James H.W. and Ida (Lavine) Eaton. She married Ernest H. Moen in 1941 at Maquoketa, Iowa and they settled in the Barneveld area, where she has lived for the past 68 years. She was the mother of 10 children, raising 9 to adulthood.

Amy is survived by her children, Eileen (Ron) Arndt, Don (Wanda) Moen, Elayne Martin, Mary Ann (Ken) Vodak, Betty (Jerry) Colquhoun, Phyllis Grant, Anita (Arthur) Grana, Janice (Tom) Jacobs, and Lori (Don) Scheidegger; 27 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Eleanor (Don) Gammeter, many nieces, nephews, many of whom proclaim her "favorite Aunt".

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest (2008), her daughter, Amy, three grandchildren, her parents, four siblings and several of her in-laws.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the BARNEVELD UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday at the church.
