Dodgeville – Abigail O. "Abby" Pfanku, age 83, of Dodgeville, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Crest Ridge Assisted Living in Dodgeville. She was born on December 20, 1938, in Lima, Peru. Abby came to America and she and her husband, George, settled in Arena. Together, they had four children. Abby made many sacrifices in order to give her children a great life. She worked at Lands' End for 37 years. During that time, she made many lasting friendships.

Abby was proud of her grandchildren and so enjoyed spending time with them and her numerous friends. Abby also made the most of every opportunity to tell others about the Lord Jesus Christ, who she relied upon daily in her life. She felt that she had several angels who always took care of her

Abby is survived by three children, grandchildren, her Peruvian family, nieces, nephews and her friends who were faithfully supportive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son.

Abby's ashes will be returned to Peru to be with her loving family.
