Dodgeville - Ronda Elaine Forseth, age 73, of Dodgeville, has entered heavens everlasting craft fair on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born on June 9, 1945 in Belmont to Walter and Marie (Paull) Leigh. She married James (Porky) Forseth in 1969. She owned and operated Dirty Hollow Antiques until the death of her son Joe and retired from Lands’ End. Ronda enjoyed woodworking, quilting and could replicate any craft item she found. Christmas craft shows is where she displayed her wonderful creations and will be missed dearly. She knitted over 600 baby hats for the Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee as a thank you for the outstanding care her grandson Vince received during his heart transplant. Ronda loved genealogy and could tell you things about the history of Dodgeville like nobody else. She enjoyed picking up her grandchildren Joren and Charlie from school each day and their numerous trips to Corner Drug Store for ice cream; she also enjoyed summers together with her grandchildren, Hannah, Cassie, Charlie and Joren in as she called it “Grandma’s Sweat Shop” creating and working in the garage on craft items Ronda is survived by her children Terry (Dawn) Forseth, Kerry (Terry) Miller, Amie (Larry) Tremelling, Gene (Steph) Forseth, Larry (Melanie) Forseth, Laurie (Mike Martin) Forseth, Lynn (Jim) Cowlin, Lee (Marsy) Forseth, Lisa (Johnny) Johnsrud; 27 grandchildren; her daughter-in-law Angie Forseth; her Honorary son David (Marsha) Mortimer; her siblings Pat (Larry) Sommerfeldt, Verna Batchelor, Brenda (Terry) Foust; her sister-in-law Delores Martin; many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband James “Porky”, her sons Joe and Jamie, her parents Walter and Marie Leigh, her in-laws Melvin and Azetta Forseth. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019 at GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH in Dodgeville. Rev. Mark Williamson will officiate. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg for their “Care for All” program, which is a charitable care program – providing free or discounted care to those who need assistance paying for the care families need. The family would like to thank her granddaughter Nicole Simmons and Agrace Hospice for their special care of Grandma and also Dr. Dunn and the Staff at Upland Hills Health.
