Dodgeville – Janice E. (Brennum) Roh, age 63, of Dodgeville passed away peacefully after a long illness with ALS on October 7, 2014 at Upland Hills Hospital in Dodgeville. She was born on September 24, 1951, the daughter of Morris and Lillian (Gerber) Brennum. She graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1969. Janice married Douglas Roh on May 1, 1971. Doug and Jan raised their family on a farm west of Dodgeville for the past 43 years. Through laughter and tears they were inseparable. Janice had an immense love for farming and nature. She loved her cows. Her garden was her solace. She would put away enough food to feed to army every summer. If it wasn't homemade, we didn't eat it. We all have fond memories of working in the garden and baking with her. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was everything you could imagine in a grandma, and her grandchildren loved visiting the farm. She never longed to travel anywhere, because the farm had everything she needed, but she loved to hear everyone else's stories. Her smile and energy was contagious. Never will you meet a stronger woman who knew her path in life, and she followed it always. You have touched the hearts of many, and have left a lasting impression on all those who were fortunate enough to know you. CHEERS JAN!!!!
