South Milwaukee - Harold G. Vieth, age 92, of South Milwaukee, WI passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Upland Hills Nursing & Rehab Center in Dodgeville, WI. He was born in Marinette, Wisconsin on August 7, 1917. United in marriage to Nada M. Stipkovich on August 26, 1944. They shared 66 years together.
Harold was a High School Business Education Teacher for 43 years at South Milwaukee High School along with teaching Business Ed. at MATC campuses in Milwaukee. Besides his love of teaching, he played tennis for UW-Whitewater and coached the sport at South Milwaukee High School even though he was a polio victim, in both legs, since the age of two.
Harold was preceded in death by his son, Greg Vieth (52) and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Nada; his daughter, Christine Vieth, of Spring Green, WI; his daughter-in-law, Jo Vieth; and two grandsons, Chad and Travis Vieth.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Private family burial in Wisconsin Memorial Park. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
