Dodgeville - Gregory A. Lease, age 55, of Dodgeville, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2010 at his home. He was born on June 11, 1954 in Dodgeville, the son of Edward and Virginia (Nolen) Lease. Greg grew up and attended school in Ridgeway. He ran the family farm until moving to Dodgeville.
Greg is survived by his son, Kyle Lease, of Dodgeville; his sisters, Judy Husom, of Dodgeville and Pam Faust, of Rockford, IL; his brothers, Butch Lease, of Dodgeville, Ron (Anne) Lease, of Mt. Horeb and Bruce (Mary) Lease, of Ridgeway; further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Diane Lease Blumer and Mary Lou “Penny” Lease and his grandparents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at ST. BRIDGET’S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Ridgeway. Father Peter Auer will officiate. Burial will be held in St. Bridget’s Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of mass on Thursday at the church.
