Mineral Point - Dale J. Jones, age 74, of Mineral Point, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011.
He was born in Livingston to Walter and Winifred (James) Jones. He served his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He married Patricia Wienkers in 1960. The loves of his life were his wife, his three children, his five grandchildren, his John Deere tractors, horses, rodeo friends and Last Chance buddies.
Dale is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Patricia; his sons, Jeff (Dawn) Jones and Rick (Suzanne) Jones; his daughter, Sherry (Dennis) Sandvig; his five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. MARY & PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH in Mineral Point. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass at the church.
Military rites will be accorded by the Mineral Point V.F.W. and American Legion at the church.
A luncheon will follow in the church hall.
