Dodgeville / Ridgeway - Kenneth L. Gullickson, age 66, of Dodgeville, formerly of Ridgeway, died on Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Mineral Point Care Center. He was born on November 28,1943 in Dodgeville, the son of Glen and Gladys (Nelson) Gullickson. On April 3, 1965, he married Sharon Ehle in Oregon, WI. He owned and operated his own excavating and septic tank cleaning business in the Oregon area. In 1976, Ken, Sharon and their four children, moved to the family farm in Ridgeway. He retired from the Operators Engineer Local 139 Union.
Ken is survived by his mother, Gladys Gullickson; his former wife, Sharon Gullickson; his children, Todd (Karen) Gullickson, of Barneveld, Kenda Gullickson, of Ridgeway, Bradd Gullickson, of Middleton, and Chadd Gullickson, of Dodgeville; five grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Mary Jean Krantz, of Mt. Horeb, Harold (Julie) Gullickson, of Arena, Rick (Colleen) Gullickson, of Ridgeway and Joyce (Bruce) Frisch, of Mt. Horeb. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen and his nephew, Michael Gullickson.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at BARNEVELD LUTHERAN CHURCH in Barneveld. Rev. Jack Way will officiate. Burial will be held in Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 am until time of services on Tuesday at the church.
