Mineral Point - John D. Fuller, age 57, of Mineral Point, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 3, 2008. He was born December 23, 1950 in Saginaw, MI to Elmer and Louise (Rawlings) Fuller. He graduated from Oregon High School in 1969 and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. On September 14, 1979, he married Judy O’Kane. They have three children, Jenelle, John, and Jayne. He worked for Bancroft Dairy and recently retired after 25 years. He loved to golf, bowl, and play cards. Since retiring he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, walking, taking care of the house, and cooking for his wife, Judy.
John is survived by his wife and children; siblings Pamela Fuller, Susan (Larry) Hoffman, Mary (Kent) Peterson, Rae (Mouse) Haak, Ellen (Will) Wormuth, and Joe Fuller; Mother-in-law Esther O’Kane; Sisters-in-law Joyce Westby, Janet Klosterman, Jo (Mike) Mitchell, and Pat Mindham; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Father-in-law Jake O’Kane, and Brother-in-law Kenny Mindham.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the GORGEN FUNERAL HOME in Mineral Point. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
